To this end, the Energy Legacy Organization:

• Provides education and resource materials to community foundations and other charities in western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia.

• Supports work with land and mineral rights owners and their professional advisors related to charitable gifts resulting from oil, gas or mineral rights royalties, including shale energy.

• Shares resources, education, advice and news to support the independent efforts of ELO charitable member organizations.
